Hi InteresThinkers!
The Rotary Youth Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2009 (RYSEC) is
extended to 24 August 2009. We are also inviting YOU to a Workshop on
Social Enterprise Fundamentals on the 8 August 2009.
RYSEC is organised by the Rotary Club of Singapore, SYINC, Volans and
a group of passionate individuals.
RYSEC 2009, being organised by an experience team of entrepreneurs and
non-profit founders, places a strong emphasis on business viability
and sustainability. We deeply believe that the team is as important as
the idea itself - to be eligible you will need to be between 15 - 30
years old and we look forward to meeting amazing cross-generational
interdisciplinary teams.
We have designed our judging criteria dramatically different from most
other Social Enterprise challenges. We hope to inspire Social
Entrepreneurs and are looking for Social Enterprises that are truly
profitable, bring fundamental value and create sustainable change.
The Winners of this Competition will join in an all-expense paid Study
Trip to Cambodia and be awarded a cash prize. All participants will
undergo extensive training and mentorship programmes by the best and
most experienced people we can find in Singapore.
Joining us at this Workshop this Saturday will be Kenny Low (Schwab
Foundation), Kevin Teo (of Volans), Elim Chew (77th Street), Steven
Lam, Veronica Gomez (AIDA) and Jack Sim (World Toilet Organisation) .
Please pop by http://RYSEC.sg to find out more about the Challenge and
the Workshop.
You may email the Team at info at rysec.sg or call me at 9177 3635 for
more details.
See ya!
