RYSEC is organised by the Rotary Club of Singapore, SYINC, Volans and a group of passionate individuals. RYSEC 2009, being organised by an experienced team of entrepreneurs and non-profit founders, places a strong emphasis on business viability and sustainability. We also deeply believe that the team is as important as the idea itself - to be eligible you will need to be between 15 - 30 years old (which most of you should fall into) - and we are looking forward to meeting amazing cross-generational interdisciplinary teams. We have designed our judging criteria dramatically different from most other Social Enterprise challenges. We hope to inspire Social Entrepreneurs and are looking for Social Enterprises that are truly profitable, bring fundamental value and creating sustainable change. The Winners of this Competition will join in an all-expense paid internship at an international non-profit organisation and be awarded a cash prize.
